Some rooms have to change shape during the day: a floor that seats forty at noon and twelve at four. This one folds at the base and stacks against a wall, and the top takes a wipe rather than a repair.
Top and base
The folding joint is the whole product. Ours is a cast hinge with a locking tab rather than a pressed sheet joint, because the failure on a cheap folding table is always the same — the leg walks outward and the top drops a centimetre at one corner.
Made to your floor plan
Three diameters cover a two-top, a four-top and a standing table at the same height, so one order can fit out a whole floor. The top is a ply core with a laminate face, which keeps the weight down for whoever carries it at closing.
