Terms
How a quotation becomes an order, and what happens when something changes after it does.
Quotations
Quotations are valid for thirty days and are built line by line from the drawings issued with them. If the room changes, the affected lines are re-quoted; the rest stand.
Sampling and approval
One sample round is included in the price: a chair or table top in the specified finish, about fifteen days. Production " starts on written approval of the sample, and the approved sample is the reference for the batch — not a colour code on a screen.
Production
Fifteen to thirty days after approval for chairs, tables and stools; twenty to thirty-five for booth runs. These windows assume stock finishes. Non-standard colours, imported fabrics and the weeks around a national holiday are quoted with their own window rather than absorbed into a standard one.
Shipping and risk
EXW Foshan or DDP, stated on the quotation. Under EXW, risk passes at the workshop; under DDP, at the delivery address. Packing photographs are taken before the container is sealed and sent to the buyer in both cases.
Tolerances
Dimensions hold to plus or minus 3 mm against the approved sample. Timber moves with humidity, so a solid timber top can differ by a millimetre or two between seasons; that is a property of the material, not a defect.
Damaged goods
Photograph the carton before opening and the contents after, and send both. Replacements are produced in the next available slot at no charge where the damage is in transit and the cartons were photographed as received.
Payment
Terms are stated on the order confirmation. Nothing in these notes overrides an agreed order confirmation.
