On a cafe floor it goes where the seating has to be moved twice a day: the window run in the morning, the back wall after six. The solid wood carries the load and the pu is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, dry-jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Upholstery is PU on a woven backing — wipeable, which matters more than breathability on a cafe floor.
Made to your floor plan
We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off, and the sample comes first. PU wipes clean with water; abrasives take the sheen off, so keep them off the seat.
