It goes along a long shared table, where the chairs are the only thing that moves all day. The solid wood carries the load and the fabric is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, dry-jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Upholstery is a woven fabric over foam, with the seams piped so the edge keeps its line.
Made to your floor plan
We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off, and the sample comes first. Fabric takes a vacuum head once a week and a spot clean the same day something spills.
