It goes where the seating has to move twice a day: the window run in the morning, the back wall after six. The stainless steel carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is stainless steel, brushed rather than polished, so cleaning cloths leave no marks on it. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread. The seat is dished from front to back, so the front edge does not press under the thigh.
Built to your drawing
Where a run is going into a chain fit-out, the first batch is shot against the drawing before packing. The order starts when the sample is signed off. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are the three things we change most often, and all three are quoted with the sample.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
