It goes along a long shared table, where the chairs are the only thing that moves all day. The iron carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is iron, welded and powder-coated in one colour so the seat and the legs read as one object. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table. The back is tufted, with the buttons pulling the panel into shape rather than pressed in for decoration.
Built to your drawing
Legs are cut from the same board as the rails, so the grain runs the same way round the frame. Seat height is set to your drawing rather than to a stock number: send the table or counter height and the leg is cut to suit, and a sample leaves the workshop before the run starts.
Ordering and care
We ship EXW Foshan or DDP, and the loading plan is drawn before the container is booked. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
