It is the chair for a two-top that has to become a four-top when a group walks in. The ash wood carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
Ash is used for the frame: straight grain, so a thin back rail stays stiff without being made thicker. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread.
Built to your drawing
Each run is sampled at the bench: one chair is built first and signed off before the rest start. Every run starts from your drawing. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are open, samples go out before the production run, and the whole order leaves from Foshan.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
