It fits the counter side, where the seats are close together and the gap between them is measured. The metal carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table. The proportions are mid-century, which is why it sits easily next to both timber and steel tables.
Made to your floor plan
The order starts when the sample is signed off. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are the three things we change most often, and all three are quoted with the sample. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
