It suits the middle of the room, where chairs get turned and dragged rather than lifted. The metal carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table. The shape is Nordic: a light frame, a straight line at the back, nothing added for decoration.
Made to your floor plan
We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off, and the sample comes first. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
