It suits the middle of the room, where chairs get turned and dragged rather than lifted. There is no upholstery to wear through here, so what you see is what the chair is: solid wood through the frame and the seat.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, dry-jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out.
Made to your floor plan
Seat height is set at 450 mm for 720–750 mm cafe tables. We cut to your drawings rather than to a catalogue: frame colour, upholstery and seat height can all move, and a sample leaves the workshop before the run starts. Two cloths, one dry and one damp, cover what the seat needs.
