Long tables fail in cafes for a boring reason: legs at the corners. This one carries the top on two uprights set in from the ends, so the two seats at either end are usable and nobody sits astride a leg.
Top and base
The uprights land on a single plinth, which spreads the load and keeps the floor under the table clear for a mop. Black steel against a light top is the pairing that suits a room with timber floors and not much else going on.
Made to your floor plan
Fixed at 750 mm for a 450 mm seat. Length and depth are cut to the plan — 1100 is what we make when the drawing does not say, because it takes four covers without blocking an aisle.
