It fits the counter side, where the seats sit close and the gap between them is measured. The iron carries the load and the fabric is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is iron, welded and powder-coated in one colour so the seat and the legs read as one object. Upholstery is a woven fabric over foam, with the seams piped so the edge keeps its line. The back runs above the shoulder line, for a room where people sit for an hour and lean.
Built to your drawing
Where a run is going into a chain fit-out, the first batch is shot against the drawing before packing. The order starts when the sample is signed off. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are the three things we change most often, and all three are quoted with the sample.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Fabric takes a vacuum head once a week and a spot clean the same day something spills.
