It goes along a long shared table, where the chairs are the only thing that moves all day. The stainless steel carries the load and the upholstered is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is stainless steel, brushed rather than polished, so cleaning cloths leave no marks on it. Seat and back are upholstered, with the fabric, the colour and the grade open to your sample.
Built to your drawing
Hardware is stainless where the chair will be wiped down, and recessed so it does not catch a cloth. The order starts when the sample is signed off. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are the three things we change most often, and all three are quoted with the sample.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Fabric grade decides the cleaning method, and it is named on the sample tag with the order.
