It suits a room where the tables are fixed and the chairs are what people rearrange. The stainless steel carries the load and the fabric is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is stainless steel, brushed rather than polished, so cleaning cloths leave no marks on it. Upholstery is a woven fabric over foam, with the seams piped so the edge keeps its line. The back is tufted, with the buttons pulling the panel into shape rather than pressed in for decoration.
Built to your drawing
Seat rails are sized from the upholstery thickness, so the cushion does not push the frame apart. The order starts when the sample is signed off. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are the three things we change most often, and all three are quoted with the sample.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Fabric takes a vacuum head once a week and a spot clean the same day something spills.
