It suits the corner table, where the chair is pushed back against the wall and left there. The stainless steel carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is stainless steel, brushed rather than polished, so cleaning cloths leave no marks on it. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table.
Built to your drawing
Welds are dressed flat before coating, so there is no ridge where a hand goes under the seat. The order starts when the sample is signed off. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are the three things we change most often, and all three are quoted with the sample.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
