It is the chair for a two-top that has to become a four-top when a group walks in. The metal carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered and no weld shows. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table.
Built to your drawing
Where a run is going into a chain fit-out, the first batch is shot against the drawing before packing. We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
