It goes under a table that is cleared and reset four times between opening and close. The iron carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is iron, welded and powder-coated in one colour so the seat and the legs read as one object. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread. The back is tufted, with the buttons pulling the panel into shape rather than pressed in for decoration.
Built to your drawing
Seat rails are sized from the upholstery thickness, so the cushion does not push the frame apart. We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
