It is the chair for a two-top that has to become a four-top when a group walks in. The stainless steel carries the load and the pu is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is stainless steel, brushed rather than polished, so cleaning cloths leave no marks on it. Upholstery is PU on a woven backing — wipeable, which matters more than breathability on a cafe floor.
Built to your drawing
Seat rails are sized from the upholstery thickness, so the cushion does not push the frame apart. We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. PU wipes clean with water; abrasives take the sheen off, so keep them off the seat.
