It is the chair for a two-top that has to become a four-top when a group walks in. The metal carries the load and the fabric is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered and no weld shows. Upholstery is a woven fabric over foam, with the seams piped so the edge keeps its line.
Built to your drawing
The finish goes on in three coats, sanded back between the second and the third. We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Fabric takes a vacuum head once a week and a spot clean the same day something spills.
