It goes under a table that is cleared and reset four times between opening and close. The stainless steel carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is stainless steel, brushed rather than polished, so cleaning cloths leave no marks on it. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table.
Built to your drawing
Feet are fitted with felt or nylon glides, depending on whether the floor is tile or timber. We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
