It fits a narrow floor, where the chairs have to tuck fully under the table to keep the aisle. The iron carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is iron, welded and powder-coated in one colour so the seat and the legs read as one object. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table.
Built to your drawing
The seat frame is mortised into the legs, not screwed into the outside face where the fixing would show. We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
