It suits the corner table, where the chair is pushed back against the wall and left there. The metal carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered and no weld shows. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread. The back is mesh on a frame, which keeps the chair cool in a room that fills up.
Built to your drawing
Each run is sampled at the bench: one chair is built first and signed off before the rest start. Nothing here is stocked. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height follow your drawing, and the first sample goes out before the run is booked.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
