It fits a narrow floor, where the chairs have to tuck fully under the table to keep the aisle. The oak wood carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is oak, chosen for the same reason a bench top is oak — it takes a knock and keeps its shape. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread.
Built to your drawing
Every frame is checked for rock on a flat table before it leaves the bench, not after packing. Nothing here is stocked. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height follow your drawing, and the first sample goes out before the run is booked.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
