It is the spare seat by the door, the one pulled across when a third person joins a table. The metal carries the load and the velvet is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered and no weld shows. The velvet pile is short and dense, chosen so it does not flatten where people push back from the table.
Built to your drawing
Feet are fitted with felt or nylon glides, depending on whether the floor is tile or timber. Nothing here is stocked. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height follow your drawing, and the first sample goes out before the run is booked.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Velvet wants a soft brush against the pile, not a damp cloth, which leaves a mark.
