It works along a banquette, where the chair is only ever pulled out and pushed back. The metal carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered and no weld shows. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread. The back is a single Y, which gives the spine a line to sit against without a solid panel behind it.
Built to your drawing
The seat frame is mortised into the legs, not screwed into the outside face where the fixing would show. Nothing here is stocked. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height follow your drawing, and the first sample goes out before the run is booked.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
