It goes along a long shared table, where the chairs are the only thing that moves all day. The iron carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is iron, welded and powder-coated in one colour so the seat and the legs read as one object. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread.
Built to your drawing
Each run is sampled at the bench: one chair is built first and signed off before the rest start. Every run starts from your drawing. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are open, samples go out before the production run, and the whole order leaves from Foshan.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
