It goes under a table that is cleared and reset four times between opening and close. The solid wood carries the load and the rattan is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. The seat is woven in rattan, pulled tight over the frame so it does not sag at the front edge. It folds flat, for the days when the floor plan has to change between the morning and the evening.
Built to your drawing
The seat frame is mortised into the legs, not screwed into the outside face where the fixing would show. Every run starts from your drawing. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are open, samples go out before the production run, and the whole order leaves from Foshan.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Rattan wants a dry brush and a damp cloth, and it should not be left wet overnight.
