It goes where the seating has to move twice a day: the window run in the morning, the back wall after six. The solid wood carries the load and the linen is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Linen upholstery, with the slub left in, so the surface reads as cloth rather than vinyl.
Built to your drawing
Every frame is checked for rock on a flat table before it leaves the bench, not after packing. We build from your floor plan, not from stock. Frame finish, upholstery and seat height are all open to change, and a sample goes out before production.
Ordering and care
Lead time runs from sample sign-off, not from the enquiry, which is the number most quotes leave out. Linen creases where people sit; it is meant to, and a warm iron takes it back.
