It suits the corner table, where the chair is pushed back against the wall and left there. There is no upholstery to wear through here, so what you see is what the chair is: walnut wood through the frame and the seat.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is walnut, darker in the grain than ash, and it reads darker still once the first coat goes on. There is no upholstery on this model, so the frame is the whole chair and there is nothing to recover later.
Built to your drawing
Where a run is going into a chain fit-out, the first batch is shot against the drawing before packing. We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Two cloths, one dry and one damp, cover what the frame needs.
