It suits the corner table, where the chair is pushed back against the wall and left there. The walnut wood carries the load and the upholstered is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is walnut, darker in the grain than ash, and it reads darker still once the first coat goes on. Seat and back are upholstered, with the fabric, the colour and the grade open to your sample. The back is curved in plan as well as in section, which is what stops a shoulder finding an edge.
Built to your drawing
Seat rails are sized from the upholstery thickness, so the cushion does not push the frame apart. Nothing here is stocked. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height follow your drawing, and the first sample goes out before the run is booked.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Fabric grade decides the cleaning method, and it is named on the sample tag with the order.
