It goes along a long shared table, where the chairs are the only thing that moves all day. The leather is the part that decides how the chair reads in the room, and it is the part we would change first if the room calls for it.
Frame and upholstery
Frame and seat are made to the drawing, so there is nothing fixed here to work around. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread. The back is curved in plan as well as in section, which is what stops a shoulder finding an edge.
Built to your drawing
The finish goes on in three coats, sanded back between the second and the third. Nothing here is stocked. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height follow your drawing, and the first sample goes out before the run is booked.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
