It is the chair that ends up on the terrace on a warm afternoon and back inside by seven. The solid wood carries the load and the fabric is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Upholstery is a woven fabric over foam, with the seams piped so the edge keeps its line. The back curves round into the arms in one sweep, so there is no joint at the shoulder.
Built to your drawing
Welds are dressed flat before coating, so there is no ridge where a hand goes under the seat. Every run starts from your drawing. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are open, samples go out before the production run, and the whole order leaves from Foshan.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Fabric takes a vacuum head once a week and a spot clean the same day something spills.
