It fits a narrow floor, where the chairs have to tuck fully under the table to keep the aisle. The solid wood carries the load and the linen is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Linen upholstery, with the slub left in, so the surface reads as cloth rather than vinyl.
Built to your drawing
Legs are cut from the same board as the rails, so the grain runs the same way round the frame. Every run starts from your drawing. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are open, samples go out before the production run, and the whole order leaves from Foshan.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Linen creases where people sit; it is meant to, and a warm iron takes it back.
