It goes where the seating has to move twice a day: the window run in the morning, the back wall after six. The solid wood carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread.
Built to your drawing
Where a run is going into a chain fit-out, the first batch is shot against the drawing before packing. We build from your floor plan, not from stock. Frame finish, upholstery and seat height are all open to change, and a sample goes out before production.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
