It suits a room where the tables are fixed and the chairs are what people rearrange. The solid wood carries the load and the upholstered is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Seat and back are upholstered, with the fabric, the colour and the grade open to your sample.
Built to your drawing
The finish goes on in three coats, sanded back between the second and the third. We build from your floor plan, not from stock. Frame finish, upholstery and seat height are all open to change, and a sample goes out before production.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Fabric grade decides the cleaning method, and it is named on the sample tag with the order.
