It is the spare seat by the door, the one pulled across when a third person joins a table. The rattan carries the load and the upholstered is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is built from rattan, wrapped and bound at the joints, which is what keeps a light chair stiff. Seat and back are upholstered, with the fabric, the colour and the grade open to your sample.
Built to your drawing
Corner blocks are glued and pinned, which is what stops a chair going out of square after a season. We build from your floor plan, not from stock. Frame finish, upholstery and seat height are all open to change, and a sample goes out before production.
Ordering and care
It is packed flat where the design allows, which keeps the freight bill down on a run of forty or more. Fabric grade decides the cleaning method, and it is named on the sample tag with the order.
