On a cafe floor it goes where the seating has to be moved twice a day: the window run in the morning, the back wall after six. The timber carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is built from timber sections, sanded through three grits before the first coat goes on. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread.
Made to your floor plan
We work from the drawing rather than from a stock list. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height stay open until the sample is signed off, and the sample comes first. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
