It is the chair for a two-top that has to become a four-top when a group walks in. There is no upholstery to wear through here, so what you see is what the chair is: solid wood through the frame and the seat.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, dry-jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. The shape is Nordic: a light frame, a straight line at the back, nothing added for decoration.
Made to your floor plan
The order starts when the sample is signed off. Frame colour, upholstery and seat height are the three things we change most often, and all three are quoted with the sample. Two cloths, one dry and one damp, cover what the seat needs.
