It works along a wall or a banquette, where the chair is only ever pulled out and pushed back. The solid wood carries the load and the linen is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is solid wood, dry-jointed and glued at the corners rather than stapled, so it stays square through a year of being pushed in and out. Linen upholstery, with the slub left in so the surface reads as cloth rather than vinyl. The arms sit at a height that clears a 720 mm table top, so the chair pulls in without catching.
Made to your floor plan
We build from your floor plan, not from stock. Frame finish, upholstery and seat height are all open to change, a sample goes out before production, and everything ships from Foshan. Linen creases where people sit; it is meant to, and a warm iron takes it back.
