On a cafe floor it goes where the seating has to be moved twice a day: the window run in the morning, the back wall after six. The metal carries the load and the leather is what people meet at the table, which is the right way round for a chair that gets used all day.
Frame and upholstery
The frame is welded steel tube, powder-coated after welding so the joints stay covered. Seat and back are upholstered in leather, cut by hand and stitched with matching thread. The look is industrial, closer to a workshop piece than a drawing-room one.

Seat height is set at 450 mm for 720–750 mm cafe tables. We cut to your drawings rather than to a catalogue: frame colour, upholstery and seat height can all move, and a sample leaves the workshop before the run starts. Leather wants a damp cloth and a neutral soap, nothing with solvent in it.
